Plans have been lodged to demolish a disused nursery building in Ayr.
South Ayrshire Council has submitted a prior-notification application for the demolition of the former Cherry Tree Nursery on Dalmilling Road.
The building sits inside the current Cherry Tree Early Years Centre campus, and the council is looking to demolish the building to create more space in the grounds of the facility.
Planning documents state: "Former Cherry Tree Nursery has been unused for many months.
"South Ayrshire Council wish to demolish the former nursery school for more grounds."
